I was tired of trying and returning bras because none of them could fit and support my DDDs!
And this bra weird design choice made me fall in love with an underwire. It lifts and keeps the girls in place without digging in, pinching, smooshing, poking or constant readjusting
Okay so I never write reviews, like literally never, but I have to talk about this bra because I think there are a lot of you out there who are exactly like me and need to hear this.
Backstory real quick:
I am NOT a small chested girl.
I've been a DD/DDD my whole adult life and it's honestly been a nightmare finding anything that actually works.
Like there are two options in bra world and neither one works for me.
Option 1:
A traditional bra with underwire that's supposed to give support and shape, except the wire pokes me, or digs into my armpit, or eventually breaks through the fabric and stabs me at the worst possible times (usually at work, obviously, when you can't just take your bra off).
Option 2:
A sports bra, which is fine I guess if you just want to smoosh everything into one giant uniboob situation and call it a day.
No shape, no separation, and honestly not even that much support once you're actually moving around.
So basically I just... dreaded bra shopping. Like actively dreaded it.
I'd put it off because I knew I was going to try on ten bras and hate all of them and still not solve the problem.
Someone recommended this one to me and honestly I almost didn't buy it because when it showed up I genuinely thought it was defective.
The wire is on the OUTSIDE of the cup, not sewn inside like normal.
I legit thought I got sent a bra that was sewn inside out lol.
I was this close to sending it back without even trying it.
Glad I didn't though because that "weird" outside wire thing is actually the whole point and it's genius.
There's nothing but soft fabric touching your skin, so there's no poking, no digging, no wire slowly working its way out and attacking you six months later.
It's still doing its job holding everything up and in shape, it's just not doing it against your actual skin.
And the support is real support.
Not "eh it's fine I guess" support.
I can move, bend over, work out, whatever, and everything just... stays where it's supposed to be.
No bounce.
No shifting around.
No pulling everything back into place every five minutes.
And it actually separates instead of mushing me into one shape, which sounds like a small thing but makes SUCH a difference in how clothes fit on top.
The straps are wide too which I didn't think I'd care about but oh my god, I care about it now.
My old sports bras had thin straps that would just saw into my shoulders after wearing them a few hours, especially carrying this much weight up top.
These ones spread it out so there's no dig, no red marks, nothing.
Anyway. If you're one of those people who has genuinely tried everything, done the whole "regular bra vs sports bra" back and forth for years, and you're just tired of either being in pain or looking shapeless, I really think this is worth trying.
It's the first bra in a long time where I put it on and just... forgot I was wearing a bra.
Which honestly might be the best compliment I can give one.
